I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these beauties every three months as infants and every year ever since for milestone sessions.

There’s something so amazing about being a part of their childhood by capturing images of them over time, and I am forever grateful to my families for letting me share in these memories of their babies growing up. This mama in particular is amazing when it comes to displaying portraits from these milestone sessions in their home.

Not only are milestone sessions fun to see the changes from year to year, but they become memories to look back on forever- images that will be dug out to display at high school graduations and weddings, that will prompt conversations like, “Oh, I remember this dress” and “Oh, look at how little we were!” and immediately transport this family back in time.

I love how photographs have this power and that I get to be a part of that. For now, here are some of my favorites from my sessions with Evie, age 7, and Lydia, age 5, in downtown Fargo a few weeks ago.
